Subconsciously, I put off watching this until my final deadline to review all 2023 horror films. Maybe I was hoping for ‘last but not least’, but as box office releases go, ‘last IS the least’. What a horrible excuse for a movie marketed as horror. Dumb, maybe, but so many holes in the story, the premise was just ridiculous, and what a waste of almost two hours of my life. I can’t believe this is the type of crap greenlighted for theatrical, big box office releases these days.
If you want to see a movie like this, go see Willy’s Wonderland and experience an almost silent Nic Cage for a far much better viewing.
