Interesting concept and I love the isolated desert setting in this film. There is a tribal, folk horror slant to this movie, and it really keeps you engaged throughout its runtime. Both main actors were spot-on in their performances, though the lead male seemed to have moments of overacting where in a state of madness, but otherwise, I could believe this was happening and kept it grounded nicely to reality.
The ending was fairly expected and there were no real surprises throughout. But if you’re in the mood for a movie where someone is isolated, trapped and descends into madness, this is well worth your time.
