Review
Trim Season is the 50th newly released horror movie I’ve watched in 2024 and it’s a bottom dweller. Since we’re on the subject of trimming, here’s what I’d have trimmed from this movie: everything. If this movie was a marijuana plant, I’d have butchered it down to its last bare seed, then crushed the seed just to make sure something similar would never grow back. I mean this review is short because I just can’t find too many positives. The acting was not good, the plot was ridiculous and thin. The only redeeming element was perhaps the remote location, but that was even showcased poorly in some aspects.
There’s going to be some viewers that see the trailer, get suckered in by the early reviews stating it’s an average or good film, and leave bewildered by the terrible experience.
If you want to trim bad horror movies from your watchlist, start with this one!
