Dread was an instant sleeper hit with me. I’ve seen it around for ten years, but never thought I’d enjoy it this much. Finally pulled the trigger, streamed and was impressed. They don’t make movies like this much anymore. This was just a brutal, no-happy-ender that was definitely sadistic and unapologetic in its approach.
Dread was molded from a short story by Clive Barker back in his heyday and this film definitely held true to the vision penned.
