Overview
The first phase is hallucinogenic…the second phase is glandular…and the third phase is…BODY MELT.
Residents of peaceful Pebbles Court, Homesville, are being used unknowingly as test experiments for a new ‘Body Drug’ that causes rapid body decomposition (melting skin etc.) and painful death.
Review
More fever dream than body horror. I was in for bodies melting, imploding, exploding, decomposing…a brainless, gooey good time. I was disappointed that there wasn’t more flesh melting death scenes. But the movie was indeed strange and brainless. A lot didn’t gel well, didn’t connect well with the plot as effective humor. Maybe it wasn’t in the budget, but the more bodies exploding, disintegrating and liquefying, the better a movie such as this would go over.
If you’re looking for something gross and outlandishly stupid, Body Melt might fit in well in your watchlist.
