Review

I did not expect for this movie to debut in my top-10 horror movies of 2024, but it’s a refreshing surprise.

Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person is a melting pot of genres. Dashes of horror, romance and comedy are blended perfectly. What you get is a very charming and compassionate story between two well developed characters that drives this movie. Both Sara Montpetit (as Sasha) and Félix-Antoine Bénard (as Paul) are brilliantly played with great chemistry between.

This movie is light on horror, but maintains that edgy dark tones that broadened horror fans will truly dig.

Rating: ★★★½ (out of 5)
