Review
I first viewed Tremors in my late high school years. It’s always stuck with me as a purely entertaining movie. No matter how many times I watch it, it remains thoroughly enjoyable. Quite possibly one of the best horror comedy creature features ever. The cast is what drives its effectiveness. Quirky, comedic characters, including a strangely bad-ass Michael Gross alongside the always bad-ass Fred Ward. Throw in Kevin Bacon in his earlier years as an actor—it’s a dream cast for a horror B-movie.
The Graboids are still quite impressive looking even more than thirty years after initial release. Carnivorous worms swimming through the desert, eating humans. Simple and effective. Tremors is a timeless classic.
