Daniel Isn’t Real is a film that dives into the horror of mental illness, but crosses into the supernatural. The bulk of the movie is engaging with a great cast, but some of the characters seemed a little basic, not fleshed out well.
The film’s climax feels rushed and somewhat convoluted, leaving several plot threads unresolved. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of disappointment as the credits rolled, wishing for a more satisfying conclusion to the story.
Daniel Isn’t Real is a decent watch. It has its moments of brilliance, but they’re overshadowed by narrative shortcomings. It’s worth a watch for fans of psychological horror, but don’t expect it to leave a lasting impression.
