After watching The House That Jack Built, I wanted to explore some more selections from the director and this two-film production had Mia Goth in Vol. 2, so easy decision.
Vol. 1 was interesting between perspectives of a scholarly older man and young battered promiscuous woman. The fibonacci, nature and fly fishing parallels in relation to her aggressive sexual appetite are intriguing. Lot of brief sexual, full nudity scenes, but the director does a really good job in forming this all into an art form with a character study background on how this woman became the person she is.
I have a feeling things are going to get much darker for the lead Joe in Vol. 2.
