I really wanted to like this. Oftentimes comedic horror and low budget make great bedfellows, but this one wasn’t one of those combinations. More eyerolls and head shakes than actual laughs, there were moments even the short 75-minute-long film seemed way too long. Most of the father-daughter (Kennedy/Bruce) moments seemed contrived and amateurish which could have added at least a 1/2 star or more, but nothing really broke through in this film.
Interesting premise and the writer Adam Cesare is actually a talented midlist author, so readers should check out his work.
